Grocery inflation drops to lowest level since April 2022

Irish shoppers are getting some relief at supermarket tills as grocery inflation fell 1.2 percentage points in February to the lowest level since April 2022.

Grocery inflation stood at 4.7 per cent for the three months to February 18, according to figures from Kantar, down from 5.9 per cent in January and marking the tenth month in a row that inflation has fallen.
