Greencore posts healthy profits of £76m despite ‘challenging market’ conditions
The convenience food manufacturer said it delivered steady profit growth this year after exiting a number of low margin contracts and passing on cost inflation
Greencore, the Dublin-headquartered convenience foods manufacturer, recorded healthy sales and profit growth for its 2023 financial year despite what it described as a “challenging market environment” this year.
The company said it had delivered above-market volume growth, despite exiting a number of low margin contracts, while it also mitigated and recovered the majority of its input cost inflation through operational and commercial initiatives.
