Greencoat Renewables to acquire Meath solar farm from Statkraft

The 80.5 MWp solar farm is currently under construction and is expected to be operational by late 2023

Greencoat Renewables, the Irish renewable infrastructure company, has agreed to acquire the South Meath Solar Farm from Statkraft, the Norwegian firm.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Greencoat Renewables will acquire a 50 per cent stake in the asset with the remaining 50 per cent being acquired in partnership with a pension fund, which is investing through a fund also managed by Greencoat Capital LLP.
