Green energy fund to deploy over €215m into Ireland

Sustainable Development Capital (SDCL), a global energy efficiency investment firm, is planning to use a third of its new €650 million fund on Irish projects.

At the end of last year, the London-headquartered company raised money for a Green Energy Solutions Fund (GESF) from key institutional investors including the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund, M&G Investments and HALTRA.
