Grant Thornton appointed external auditor of Central Bank in €3m deal

Contract will run from 2023 to 2027 with an option for an additional two years

Grant Thornton, the audit firm that recently completed two controversial reports into the RTÉ payments scandal, has been appointed as an external auditor for the Central Bank as part of a deal potentially worth up to €3 million.

The new contract will run from 2023 to 2027 with an option for an additional two years.
