Government approves judicial nominees to High and Circuit court

Six nominees will be formally appointed to their judicial roles by President Michael D Higgins in the coming weeks

The government has approved the nominations of four judges to the High Court and two judges to the Circuit Court.

Cabinet was told on Tuesday that senior counsels Conleth Bradley, Denise Brett, Nuala Jackson, and David Nolan are to be appointed to the High Court.

Jonathan Dunphy, a solicitor at Dublin-based Jonathan Dunphy & Company Solicitors, is to be appointed to the Circuit Court while Chistopher Callan, a solicitor at firm Callan Tansey which has ...
