Global supply chains still ‘unpredictable’, but improving

Global supply chains remain “fragile” despite an improvement in lead times and a reduction in shipping costs, the head of logistics for a global life sciences company has said.

Sheri Lewis, executive vice president for global supply chain at Avantor, a US chemicals and materials company, described supply chains as “unpredictable” over the last two years due to the pandemic but said the situation was slowly improving.
