A Chinese-backed company is suing Declan Ganley’s Rivada Networks in the US claiming defamation, tortious interference, and “xenophobic (anti-Chinese)” remarks in relation to a dispute over a planned multibillion-euro mega-constellation consisting of hundreds of space satellites.

The case, which was filed in the circuit court in Washington DC, was taken by Kleo AG and relates to comments made by Ganley in a media interview during a major satellite conference in the US.
