Further delays to wind farm projects will cost consumers and energy users heavily, Wind Energy Ireland (WEI) has warned, after a slew of developments are being held up by judicial reviews.

The comments come following revelations by the Business Post that a further four wind farms, which were granted planning permission before Christmas and have the capacity to produce enough renewable energy to power almost 270,000 homes have been delayed.
