Former Twitch boss Emmett Shear is new CEO of OpenAI

The board of OpenAI has named Emmett Shear, the former boss of the game streaming site Twitch, as the firm’s new chief executive, defying calls from investors to reinstate the ousted Sam Altman, according to people familiar with the matter.
