Mark Foley, the former Eirgrid chief executive, has been appointed chair of a government-backed sustainable finance organisation.

In a post on LinkedIn on Tuesday, Foley announced that he has take up a new role as chair of the International Sustainable Finance Centre of Excellence (ISFCOE), which is a body set up to promote knowledge sharing among the Irish finance industry on green finance.
