Research on corporate tax avoidance in democracies at University College Dublin (UCD) is among seven Irish projects to receive a share of €14 million in European Research Council grants.

Business Post columnist Aidan Regan, of UCD’s school of politics and international relations, received funding for his project, Democracy Challenged, which will investigate why concentrated capital and wealth inequality are a problem for democracy, and the role of corporate tax avoidance.
