Concerns voiced for welfare of staff due to workload caused by account switches
The Financial Services Union has called on regulators to compel Ulster Bank and KBC, both of which are set to withdraw from the Irish market this year, to extend their timelines and commit to remaining open until 2023 amid “growing concerns for the health and safety” of staff who are overburdened by the workload of facilitating account switches.
