‘Final opportunity’ for firms to pay back warehoused tax interest-free with only 10% of debt outstanding

Revenue said the vast majority of the €1.65 billion in warehoused debt was now in hand

Almost 90 per cent of warehoused tax has been either paid back in full, or arrangements have been made to repay debts on a phased basis.

According to Revenue, Irish firms still owe a €200 million in unpaid tax, a fraction of the €3.2 billion debt total in January 2022.
