The director of Donegal music festival Sea Sessions has been appointed Dublin city’s night time economy tsar in a bid to support the cultural and creative life of the capital over the next two years.

Ray O’Donoghue, a concert promoter, took up the role at Dublin City Council last week and will be tasked with working with stakeholders and revitalising the city’s evening economy.
