There has been a sharp decline in the number of new barristers entering the Law Library, according to the Bar Council’s latest annual report.

There were 96 new admissions to the Bar of Ireland in 2015, a drop of 9 per cent on the numbers the previous year, and a 40 per cent drop since 2013.
