Fall in Irish exports reflective of global market trends, says IDA chief

The recent fall in exports of goods from Ireland is reflective of what is happening in the global market, Michael Lohan, head of IDA Ireland, has said.

Exports of goods from Ireland were down 6 per cent in the nine months to September this year at €149 billion. The pharma sector, in particular, has experienced a drop in exports here.
