External consultants are to be brought in to lead the search for Dublin City Council’s new chief executive following criticism of how the process has been handled.
Darragh O’Brien, the Minister for Housing, confirmed that a third party is to be engaged by the Public Appointments Service (PAS) to carry out an “executive search process” to find candidates of the “highest calibre” for the €220,000-a-year role.
