Employment increases to record levels in 2023 among Enterprise Ireland backed firms

The semi-state agency said its client companies recorded the third year of consecutive jobs growth and now employ more than 225,000 people

Employment levels among Enterprise Ireland supported Irish companies reached a record high last year thanks to continued growth in the food, life sciences and construction sectors.

On Tuesday, Enterprise Ireland, the semi-state support agency that works with Irish export firms, said employment levels among its client companies increased by 5 per cent last year to just over 225,000 – the highest ever recorded.
