Pilots at Emerald Airlines are set to vote in favour of an agreement that will give them trade union recognition, bringing to an end the threat of strike action at the Aer Lingus regional carrier.

The Irish Airline Pilots’ Association (IALPA), which is part of Fórsa, on Friday signed off on an agreement that means its members will be consulted on the terms and conditions of their employment.
