Emerald Airlines pilots overwhelmingly back deal for 10% pay rise

Some 97% of union members voted in favour of the agreement - which includes staggered pay increases over three years

Pilots at Emerald Airlines, the operator of regional services for Aer Lingus, have voted overwhelmingly in favour of a new agreement that gives them a 10 per cent pay rise.

Members of the the Irish Airline Pilots’ Association (Ialpa), which is part of Fórsa, on Tuesday balloted members on a new deal its representatives struck with the airline last Friday.
