Economic impact of Irish dairy sector estimated at almost €18bn last year - report

A new report by EY, which was commissioned by Dairy Industry Ireland, has found the sector supports almost 54,000 jobs across the country

Ireland’s dairy sector contributed almost €18 billion to the domestic economy last year and supported almost 54,000 jobs, a new industry report has found.

The report, which was commissioned by Dairy Industry Ireland and compiled by EY, found that the overall economic impact of the Irish dairy industry increased to €17.6 billion last year.
