The government will move quickly to implement new strategies to reduce private car use in urban centres after it goes to cabinet in the coming weeks, Eamon Ryan has said.

Last week the Business Post revealed that the minister for transport was to bring recommendations to cabinet around higher parking charges in city centres, reallocating road space, removing parking spaces, and creating low-emissions zones.
