Dutch MEP calls on Ireland to introduce minimum corporate tax rate
Paul Tang expressed concern around the Irish tax system and its role in facilitating non-existent ‘phantom’ investment in the country as opposed to real investment from companies here
Tang, who was speaking to reporters after a two-day visit to Dublin with members of his committee, said he had raised the issue with John Hogan, the Secretary General at the Department of Finance, but had not received a clear response on Ireland’s intentions.
