Dunnes Stores beats out Tesco and SuperValu to retain top spot in grocery wars

Dunnes Stores retained its first place position in the grocery market share rankings, with 24.6 per cent of the market, just ahead of Tesco.

The Irish-owned supermarket chain had almost 1 per cent more than its nearest rival, Tesco, which commanded a 23.8 per cent share of the fiercely contested market.
