Dunnes Stores and Dublin City Council are in a stand-off over plans to cut almost 400 car parking spaces at Crumlin Shopping Centre as part of the project to expand the development.

The grocery retailer said it could be forced to pursue other development options to renovate the centre that would not require planning permission if it cannot retain at least 400 spaces.
