Six of seven local councillors have backed a proposed amendment to the controversial local area plan

Dundrum: Councillors seek to retain car access to the village

An amendment to the controversial Dundrum local area plan (LAP) is expected to be passed by Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council on Tuesday.

The proposed amendments - which would ensure the retention of car access to the main village of Dundrum and ensure full public consultation on any and all future changes to traffic junctions - has been supported by six of the seven councillors in the local electoral area.
