Businesses in Dublin have called on the government to ensure that the riots in Dublin city centre on Thursday night which caused tens of millions of euro worth of damage never occur again.

Mary Rose Burke, chief executive of Dublin Chambers, said it will be engaging with government to see what measures are needed to ensure the events of Thursday night do not reoccur.
