Dublin-based Avia solutions to acquire Australian airline
Deal will allow the aviation services company to operate both passenger and cargo flights in Australia
Avia Solutions, the Irish-headquartered aviation services company, is to acquire Australian airline Skytrans.
The acquisition is planned to be completed in March, subject to the fulfilment of specific transaction conditions, according to a statement from Avia Solutions.
Skytrans is an Australian-owned and operated airline and air charter business. The airline operates Regular Public Transport (RPT) and charter services, with a current fleet of 13 regional aircraft.
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
