Dublin-based aircraft lessor SMBC signs $3.7 billion deal to buy 25 Boeing Max aircraft

The company said the new aircraft are scheduled for delivery in 2028 and 2029 and will reduce emissions by up to 20 per cent

SMBC Aviation Capital, the Dublin-headquartered aircraft leasing company, has signed a deal worth $3.7 billion (€3.5 billion) to buy 25 planes from Boeing, the US aerospace manufacturer.
