Paschal Donohoe told Paolo Gentiloni, the European Union’s Economy Commissioner, that rising house prices were one of three major threats to the Irish economy.

The revelation is contained in minutes of a meeting the politicians had as Gentiloni travelled to Dublin to meet the Minister for Finance on September 20 ahead of a landmark decision to join a global overhaul of corporate tax rules last month.
