Donohoe to make second Dáil statement as postering controversy rumbles on

Fine Gael ministers are hopeful that the intervention will finally put an end to the controversy – but opposition TDs will be keen to apply maximum pressure

Paschal Donohoe, the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform, is to address the Dáil this afternoon over the ongoing controversy around his election expenses.

Donohoe last week appeared before TDs to make his second statement on the matter, and is due to appear again at around 4pm when he is expected to give new details about his 2020 general election expenses, including possible further assistance with election posters.
