Diamond sales at Dermot Desmond’s Mountain Province rise to €39.8 million in Q2

The firm turned in a better performance than in Q1, when sales were €66.5 million

Dermot Desmond has provided regular refinancing to Mountain Province

Dermot Desmond’s Canadian diamond mine, Mountain Province, sold $44.6 million (€39.8 million) worth of diamonds in the second quarter of this year, compared to $74.5 million (€66.5 million) in the second quarter of last year.

The sales were made up of 360,308 carats at an average price of $124 per carat (€110.7) in the three months to the end of June 2023, compared to the sale of 586,567 carats at an average price of $129 ...
