Diageo hikes pint prices in ‘critical hit’ to pub industry
Price of a pint of Guinness will rise by 6 cent from April 15, while Guinness 0.0 will rise by 9 cent
The Vintners Federation of Ireland has warned the pub industry is under threat as Diageo has announced another price hike for its beer.
From April 15, Diageo will increase the price of its entire range, which includes Guinness, Hop House 13, Rockshore, Smithwicks and Carlsberg.
Pints will increase by 6 cent which follows a 12 cent increase in February 2023.
