Desmond-owned Celtic Football Club reports record profits of almost £41m
The Scottish football club saw a significant increase in television rights and ticket revenues after returning to Champions League football last season
Revenues at Celtic, the football club owned by Dermot Desmond, rose by 36 per cent from £88.2 million (€102.1 million) to £119.9 million (€138.9 million).
The boost in revenue was partly due to the club’s return to the Champions League last season, generating more money in ticket sales and television rights income.
