Dermot Smurfit firm sued over multiple claims by former exec

Ex-chief legal officer makes a number of serious allegations about workplace culture and management of software firm GAN in US court documents

GAN, the gaming software firm founded by Dermot Smurfit jnr, is being sued by a former executive who has accused the company of wrongful dismissal, defamation, antisemitism, racism, ageism and insider trading, new legal filings show.

Michael Arouh, who worked for the company from February 2020, and was its chief legal officer between February 2021 and December 2021, has filed proceedings against GAN, Smurfit himself, and several other executives at the company.
