Department of the Taoiseach spent €12m on Covid-19 public communications in 2021
Spending was down €4.8m from 2020
The Department of the Taoiseach spent €12.1 million on Covid-19 public communications last year, the department’s second largest expenditure.
The number is a decline on 2020 figures when €16.9 million was spent on such communications. The department reported it ran a “number” of Covid-19 specific public information campaigns during 2021 and gave five examples including the reopening of society and schools and “RSVP/be risk aware”.
