Irish entrepreneur has been succeeded by Rajeev Suri
Rajeev Suri has officially succeeded Denis O’Brien as the chairman of Digicel after the company completed its debt-restructuring process.
Suri is in situ as chairman of the telecom giant while O’Brien remains on the board and a shareholder in the company, a spokesperson for the company confirmed to the Business Post.
However, the Irish businessman’s stake has been diluted to 10 per cent, while three of the company’s main bondholders take control of the firm.
