The remaining business in the publishing company founded by former taoiseach Eamon de Valera has been closed due to General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) legislation.
Thom’s, a residential and commercial directory, has been placed in voluntary liquidation by its owners. The director of the company, Eamon de Valera, grandson of the former taoiseach and president, wrote to customers last week to inform them of the closure of the business.
