DCC chief Donal Murphy criticises Irish net zero plans as firm makes €160m energy investment

Donal Murphy, the chief executive of DCC, has criticised the government for a lack of ambition to meet net zero goals.

The head of the Dublin-based international multi-sector group said both the Irish and UK governments needed to increase the incentives for businesses to use cleaner fuels.

Murphy was speaking as the company announced interim results showing that profits at DCC Energy were up by 28.9 per cent to £170.6 million.
