Davy: Cost of climate change mitigation to top €150 billion by 2023

The investment was roughly equivalent to €25,000 per individual by 2030

The cost of measures to mitigate the effects of climate change and facilitate energy transition projects is estimated to exceed €150 billion by 2030, according to research carried out by Davy Stockbrokers.

In a white paper published today, Davy estimated that at least €129 billion will be invested in dedicated energy transition measures in Ireland between 2024 and 2030.
