The promenade in Davos buzzes every night of the World Economic Forum with glitzy parties and exclusive events, but the IDA’s dinner in the Hotel Grischa remains a must-attend for those invited.

It was there that Sam Altman, the founder of OpenAI, spent a portion of his evening on Wednesday, despite being the most in-demand man at the power-brokers’ event.
