Data Protection Commission seeks clarity from Twitter over Brussels office closure
Key location for tech giant to engage in European regulation had been reduced to just two executives following Elon Musk’s staff cuts
Ireland’s Data Protection Commission has contacted Twitter following reports that the social media platform has closed its office in Brussels.
On Thursday, the Financial Times reported that key Twitter executives in charge of the company’s digital policy in Europe had left its employment last week. Julia Mozer and Dario Le Nasa had led the company’s effort to comply with the European Union’s disinformation code and Digital Services Act, according to the report.
