Darragh O’Brien has hailed the government exceeding its building targets for last year but said that he remains open to introducing new measures to address the housing crisis.

The housing minister was speaking after new data was published by the Central Statistics Office showing 29,851 new dwellings were completed in 2022, a 45 per cent increase on the 20,560 in 2021.
