Daft.ie sends mobile billboard to estate agents conference after being excluded

Ipav has accused the property website of overcharging its members for listings and informed it that it would not be welcome at its yearly event in the Hodson Bay Hotel

Daft, the property listings website, was banned from the annual conference of the Institute of Professional Auctioneers and Valuers (Ipav) earlier this month, due to a dispute over how estate agents are treated by the site.

After Ipav informed Daft that it would not be allowed to attend the event, which it has previously sponsored, the company parked a mobile billboard with a picture of its website at different locations around the conference's venue.
