Crackdown begins on Irish people providing access to Premier League 'dodgy boxes’

Cease and desist notices are being sent in counties including Mayo, Limerick, Meath and Dublin

Legal warnings have been sent to individuals in Ireland providing streaming access to Premier League matches via so-called ‘dodgy boxes’.

The warnings are being delivered in person, by post, and by email to people involved in providing illegal access to premium TV content, including English Premier League football, according to Fact, an intellectual property protection organisation.
