Corporate insolvencies rise 30% year-on-year as figures return to pre-pandemic levels
Data released on Wednesday represents the highest quarterly level since early 2019
A total of 329 corporate insolvencies were recorded in Ireland in the first half of 2023, according to Deloitte, representing an increase of 30 per cent from the same period last year.
Corporate insolvencies hit 186 between April and June, an increase on the 143 insolvencies recorded between January and March.
