Rockwell Engineering, the Cork-based engineering services firm, is planning to more than double the size of its business over the next five years to reach €100 million in turnover and grow staff numbers to more than 400 employees.

Garret Murphy, chief executive of the firm, said Rockwell already works with a host of blue-chip clients from the pharma and microchip sectors, but he believes there are significant growth opportunities available.

“Rockwell is a really solid business. We did €40 million in sales last year but out plan is to more than double the size of the business over the coming years. We’re targeting turnover of around €100 million with two things in mind,” Murphy told the Business Post.
