Cork bucks trend with boom in commercial property

Cork’s commercial property market bucked the European trend last year as investment in the sector rose to €189 million, a new market analysis has shown.

Research by CBRE, the property consultancy, found that annual investment spend in the city has averaged at €145 million since 2015.

Last year, the level of investment spend in Cork was up 30 per cent higher year-on-year as most European cities recorded a strong decline in investment activity.
