Consultants fees double to €8m at long-delayed Waterford quays redevelopment

The spend on consultants fees have almost doubled to more than €8 million at the Waterford quays redevelopment project.
A local auditor report for Waterford City and County Council found €32 million has been spent so far on the project, which has a deficit of more than €11 million.
